Published specifications

Compare before choosing

Measure around the item and attachment point. Compare the 12-inch straps for compact bundles. Length alone does not guarantee fit or establish a load rating for an entire installation.

The Basic Bucket Strap Pack contains two of these same standard 24-inch straps, with bucket-oriented guidance. It does not include a bucket or mounting hardware.

Fit and use-case guide

Choose by the attachment path and the job you need to do. Specifications below are manufacturer statements, not independent TripSpec tests.

Length and pack
Each strap is 24 inches long. Choose a two-pack or six-pack; quantities and prices depend on the selected variant.
Manufacturer specifications
HOSS specifies a 75 lb working load and describes the straps as quick-release, non-stretch, waterproof, UV resistant and saltwater safe. TripSpec has not independently tested these claims.
Bulkier dry-bag bundles
Consider the 24-inch version for bulkier dry-bag bundles when its measured attachment path fits. HOSS lists dry bags and larger gear as intended uses.
Camp-equipment organization
Consider these reusable 24-inch straps for camp-equipment organization where more reach than the 12-inch version is useful. Measure around the gear and its attachment point first.
Compact bundles needing a shorter strap
For compact bundles needing a shorter strap, compare the HOSS 12-inch version. Choose by the measured attachment path, not by pack price alone.

Before you choose

Do the two-pack and six-pack have the same price?

No. They are separate pack-size variants. Use the selected variant for the current pack price; do not treat the starting price as the six-pack price.

Does connecting straps guarantee a particular usable length?

HOSS says the straps connect for extra length, but nominal lengths alone do not establish usable closed-loop reach. Account for closure and routing, and measure the intended setup.

Does the working load rate my complete installation?

No complete-installation rating is established by the strap specification alone. The mounting surface, fasteners and other components require their own suitability assessment.
